My wife and I enjoyed the time we spent with John Springer at the ELF School at the Mountain Light Sanctuary near Asheville, NC. As one of the presenters at the school, I was pleased to see how John was able to teach the ELF School participants to directly experience the Faerie world within the realm of our physical world. With his guidance, the participants were shown that their walks in the woods should be anything but mundane. After working with John, I know that he is a man who walks between the Faerie world and our own world, and he is quite capable of demonstrating to his students how to do the same.

Enchanted Forest Walkabout

There stood the massive maestro
Giant in green and gray--a feather in his hat.

We stood in meek silence before him as he had us take a deep breath with hands upon our hearts to intake the forest's spirit we were about to enter. He spoke of dragons and mysteries and I half expected an elf or fairy behind some blade of grass.

The first grass he touched with his staff cringed as if in fear but opened again laughingly when we had passed. He enjoined us to wave if we saw a leaf waving at us and watch it be still at our response.

He pointed out the unusual, the unexpected, the loving friendliness that we would have passed right by and before long WE were making discoveries too. We did see dragons and fierce faces along with the tree of birds standing quiet and still and our own little Robert pointed out a lady tree putting on her coat. We walked under majestic Archways and the swings made of vines above our reach.

A bit of science sneaked into our stroll as we helped identify some trees that loved the water and clustered in a long ditch trench made years ago. There was the sweet gum, the red maple and the persimmon that made us purse our lips in a tight circle at the taste of fruit picked too soon.

In our walkabout we came to appreciate the red lichen on
the trees (as opposed to the dark mosses) as a way to recognize the healthy air in the forest. We also saw how trees combined sometimes to share their very life and
trunks with other trees and animals. We felt the temperature difference in one type of forest to another and the attraction between the trunks of two trees growing closely toward the sky.

When we came to the weeping pine I wanted to weep too
because our walk was ending and we would not see the
pond that changes colors or the dancing chattering creek.

But thanks to our maestro--he opened our eyes, brought back our youth, and unfolded to us the enchanted forest!

My wish is that all the young children can do this walkabout and all the grandparents too! It is charming, fanciful and more exciting than any TV show ever!

John,

I just want to send you the nicest thank you. Ever since our time with you at the Fairy Realm Workshop, my love and appreciation of nature has increased considerably. (And there was quite a lot there to begin with....or so I thought. ) You truly have a gift for pointing out the not-so-obvious and helping us nature "muggles" appreciate all of the wonder and magic around us. So, thank you, thank you, thank you!! And I must tell you one special thing - there is a beautiful park near my home where I often walk.

Since our time together, I have come to realize that there is a very strong energy center where 5 mature trees form a circle. I have walked past this for years and now know this spot and love it and appreciate it more that ever - thanks to you. Keep up that special presence that you offer to the world. And please tell your wife that I send both of you very warm regards.

Blessings and namaste,

Mary

Hi John,

Although it was nearly a year ago, my five year old still remembers our enchanted walkabout. To this day he insists that each and every tree has a face. Sometimes we hug them or try to feel their energy. Other times we just appreciate the miracle that they are.
Thanks again,
Janice

I have had the pleasure of coming to know John by both taking a workshop with him, as well as through his being a presenter at the Enchanted Forest Intuitive Camp for children where I have also presented. John brings a great boost to the awareness of the "betwixt and between" worlds of nature. In his workshops he brings our attention to the subtleties of how nature and the nature spirits communicate with us and to the signs of their presence. He also brings forth many photographs revealing the presence of nature beings that are most fascinating. He has an open and good heart which comes through when being near him and a genuine sincerity in his work of bridging the seen and unseen worlds. I would fully recommend engaging with John to expand perceptions and connections into the world of nature.

September 30, 2006

In a society where we live on fast food and fast cars, walking through the woods with John Springer is a breath of fresh air. His Enchanted Walkabout program allowed our guests to take their time while walking our trails. His quiet enthusiasm for nature really opened our eyes to a whole different world! Once John pointed out a lips in a tree or a nose, our guests began seeing faces for themselves.

John was a guest speaker at Tibet-Butler Preserve’s Eco Saturday class. Our guests absolutely loved his program and wished he could return the following weekend to go on another walk.

I look forward to John returning to the Preserve this spring for another inspiring Enchanted Walkabout program.

Thank you.

Thanks John!!!

I wanted to share something interesting with you. I had to attend an awards gathering for my company that the local paper gave us. They had their affair outside with some food and people just chit chatting. I did not know anyone and all of a sudden I spotted this little girl blowing bubbles right next to a Fairy Throne. There was this tree that had 5 trunks and you could climb inside. I watched this little girl playing around this tree and spotted her mom doing the same. I went over to the mom and told her that her daughter was playing next to a fairy throne. She was so delighted and told her daughter, which attracted attention from others who were standing around. So now I have this group of people looking at the Fairy Throne in amazement. I told the women to put her arm inside the trunks and she could feel the change in energy, and she did, P.S. she works with energy for a living and balances Chakras.

That day I had seen 2 Fairy Thrones. Do ya think they are trying to tell me something?? How wonderful it was to see beyond what we see. Thanks so much for sharing your gifts and opening my eyes. I knew they were there all along, now I take the time to stop.

Hey John / Eshalom

Really really, you are great. You do such an awesome job of - first organizing, getting the promos out there to good places - talking to/ shmoozing / connecting to the people in charge of the place of the event , and second - you are really great at the presentation, everyone with bubbles - going off to scope out the place for a few moments before - then having the knowledge of the foilage, etc. along with having names for fomations etc. i.e. Merlin's Eye, Fairy Doors, Portals. And you connect so well with the volunteers, the adults and the children. And all that come are changed and look at and connect with the elemental world around them in a new and different way. You open portals in hearts and the Merlin's Eye within the participants.

I highly honor and admire you for all that you do - your combination of of artistry and organization, promotion, and networking are totally awesome! Really Really. and I love you, dear dear friend.

John and Patricia Springer

If you want to learn how to paint you go to a fine painter already skilled in the art of painting. Well, If you want to learn about nature and the elementals that support it you should go to an expert as well. John and Patricia Springer are those experts. Their astounding knowledge as well as their soft and gentle demeanors create a beautiful space around them that attracts the Fey in a way that is unparalleled.

So often people want to believe but are so conditioned not to that they have a hard time seeing what is right in front of their eyes. Also, with the unwieldy energy so prevalent on this planet at this time it is sadly still a bit of a rarity that people possess the peace-full and faith-full kind of energy that the Fae are so attracted too. John and Patricia have this kind of energy. AND they share.

Spending a day with them on an Enchanted Walk about will remind you of why we are here on this planet and give you some tools to cultivate that wonderful feeling that is all good feelings in one with more regularity.

I would highly suggest it to parents that have a child of mid age that is beginning to forget. We cannot afford for any more people to forget why we are here and the elements that we can work with to make this planet a magical place for generations to come.

I enjoyed my day with you. I am probably one of the biggest skeptics as a scientist and yet, there is evidence that supports "light beings" were there in photo one. My prayer is that I see clearly in this life and with that intent I am truely amazed at what I am seeing.

Thank you for being who you are.

Sincerely,

My name is Kira Pitre and about three years ago my husband Bill and I went with John Springer and his lovely wife Patricia, on our first 'fairy walk'. John is a friend of many years and he invited us to get our reactions, and to also do some toning (sound vibrations) in the field. Well, this was a most delightful experience! We have always known that he has been blessed with incredible insight into both the seen and unseen realm of the spirit and intelligence of Nature - Gaia Herself and everything in his Fairy Walk (and Fairy Playshops) confirms this. In everyday life John is a world-class landscape designer with an incredible knowledge of Florida's flora and fauna and a rock solid academic background in horticulture. He also brings this perspective to "following the footsteps of the fairies", the elves, the gnomes and everyone else! We believe that this technical knowledge is an added enhancement, but not necessary to his deeply provocative spiritual insights into the Nature Kingdom.

During his Fairy Walks, John recognizes, shares and points out the portals, the signs, the nature symbols, the plant activity and configurations of "the Realm". This unique way of 'seeing' helps many of us who would never comprehend these wonders if we didn't have John to point them out.
After each outing, I took the time to speak with some of the other participants on the walks (we've done three) and each one had an unique experience and story to tell about their 'fairy adventure'. The children were especially delightful because they are so open and close to Nature and without exception every child, including my own granddaughter, was delighted with this newfound insight. In several cases I believe that some children received personal confirmation of their own previous experiences that they might have been too shy to share with anyone, even their parents, if they hadn't met John.

If you would like to experience the very special vibrations and wonders of the natural world through John's eyes, and if you pay close attention and learn to recognize the signs, sounds and patterns of field and forest, your entry into the 'fairy kingdom' is assured. I will guarantee one thing - you will NEVER see the world of Nature the same way again!

Power of the Wind
This is my learned adventure while traveling in John's world. I say learned because I too have empowered myself in believing, in knowing, in understanding how nature loves us and wants us to love and understand her too. Just remember to always say thank you!

My belief of why the fae does exist. On my first Enchanted walk amounst the fae I learned how to talk and interact with the wind. I have been fascinated with the elements ever since. A few ( at the time to me strange) Ohm's and a feeling of an inner approbation come over me I begin to understand. Following the guide lines of what I'm being taught I listen intensely to what my surrounding are saying to me. Like magic itself John raises his arms and petitions the heavens to send us a caressing breeze.

After experiencing this I tried it on everyone around me. First, my close friends. Then my husband whom is skeptical about everything from asking the flowers to give us there flavorful fragrance to believing in dancing circles on the water. I tell him he has to believe before it will work and finally I decide I have shown him enough and invite him outside. Next, a hot summer day with no breeze scuffling about. I first have him affirm that trees are not twitching about. I call upon the wind and ask for a breeze and indeed a gentle breeze came about. Of course, he and nothing
to say about it and nothing to say about my ventures next. Now believe this, I just happen to work for a trucking company ( yes I do have all my teeth!). With this new found freedom of knowing that I do indeed connect with the wind. I show off one day to a 300lb burly tank top wearing driver how the wind will listen to you. I call upon the wind to send us a breeze and poof like that ole magic I seen months before a strong gust comes across us.

In closing, I have many stories of seeing first hand how nature responds to us. I just might share another at a later date. If you are reviewing this I would highly suggest that you find the time to seek out an adventure with John. He has many powers from being so close with nature that you can't help but get a feeling he quite possible might be a giant elf in disguise.

The Enchanted Cemetery Walkabout – Apopka, July 25, 2009
A Cemetery may sound like an ‘Odd’ place for a Walkabout – However, the Apopka Cemetery is quite to the contrary. Its shady and serene grounds, makes it a ‘Wonderful’ place for a Walkabout!

In addition, because ‘a cemetery’ holds a lot of loving memories and familial bonds, as well as loving testaments & tributes to the human journey, it embraces an abundance of peaceful-loving energy! The trees and foliage that grow within the energy of such a setting can reflect some pretty unusual and fascinating outgrowths, too, as result – some that ‘may’ hold additional blessings from Above. The Saturday morning tour began with our guide pointing toward an Angel haloed high in the trunk of an ancient tree – Could it get any better than that?

My specialty is Orb Photography and Understanding; so, naturally, I would like to share with you the energies from The Orb Realm – the ones that accompanied us, or visited with us, while on the walkabout.

Before doing so, I would first like to thank: Andrew Mullen (Mt. Dora Historical Society) for emailing me notice; John Springer and his wife, Patricia, as primary facilitators; and Mark (City of Apopka) – All for contributing a good mix of practical, historical, and mystical information on the walk.

Even the beginners were encouraged to participate while John and his friends provided enlightening knowledge of Trees, Energy Outgrowths, and Foliage; Folklore and Fantasy; History and Humor – all elements that attract the energy that ‘orbs’ are made of – while opening the pathways to the hidden treasures of Mother Nature and the beauty of our environmental world as well.

What are orbs? Orbs could be described as ‘energy spheres’ – Energy that is present - but difficult to see with the human eye - and sometimes even more difficult to capture on film. Orbs are not limited to one kind of energy. Life force energy (embodied or not), Angelic energy, Animal energy, Projected energy …...Hopes, Day Dreams, and Prayers may be possibilities to name a few.

‘Whatever’ they are, they are definitely fascinating to study! Here is a brief glimpse into an Orb Study – from the Enchanted Cemetery Walkabout Apopka.

Out of 82 pictures taken – only four orbs were spotted on first review (sometimes more appear in photo’s if the obvious ones are received positively). Interpreting Orbs is like many other aspects of life and the paranormal – coincidences and other connecting factors help evaluate activity & characteristics, and lend credibility to the phenomena. The Orbs in the following photos - that permitted production - all had a sense of humor and curiosity (Although I am curious to learn if anyone else took pictures of the same orbs, in the same places, or of the same color and size. Please contact me for further study.)

First Orb of the walk – Photographed near the Ghost Tree - (I am condensing this for readability): I sensed, at the time, that The Orb was either holding back or looking for a little amusement. Next I unexpectedly sensed a connection to the Mt. Dora ghost walk - where one of the gentlemen accompanying us actually laid down on the rail road track – (I won’t go into the ‘whys’ at this time – will save that for the Mt. Dora Ghost Walk to explain). Therefore, either to get the orbs curiosity peaked or to satisfy its question of “how far will you go to get a picture?” I accommodated ‘the communication’ and laid down on the ground - taking a picture while pointing the camera skyward - up into the significant ‘ghost markings’ on the tree. No orb appeared. (Didn’t think it would – actually - while laying on the ground and feeling silly - LOL)

Walking away from the tree, however, and toward the next item of interest on the walk, I turned around (back & quick) and took a picture of the ghost tree – In a manner to say, “got ya” and I honestly thought I did – Came home – downloaded the pictures and - BINGO – Orb! (Picture attached – orb located to the right of the trunk over lapping the trunk and background landscape a bit – lower right corner).

I sensed, it was all in good fun, I had paid the price of an even exchange – amusement for amusement perhaps – and so I feel comfortable sharing and publishing the picture. I also walked back alone (after the walk – out of respect) and granted permission to the energy to remove it from my camera – if I had misunderstood – but as it still remains – I present it for your viewing pleasure – please enjoy the beauty of light energy and non-sense-ical humor I experienced.

1. Laying on my back on the ground – photographing the unusual markings on the Ghost Tree.(14)

2. Orb to the right of the tree trunk

Next, is a very exciting Orb. It shows solid center, movement, and curiosity based on the incidences surrounding the subject matter of the picture – Mark is explaining to a child – and answering group questions – Something about a cicada. The ‘reasoning/scientific world’ would question this picture - due to the sun’s light and exposure issues also present in the upper left corner – probably would discredit Orb as nature causing elements and camera flaws. Even if it does not ‘stand up’ to scientific standards – I believe this is a wonderful picture of Orb(s). Upper left corner.
See pictures 24.

The Third Orb is pictured below. “What a beautiful place to get laid to rest” – was a comment made as we spotted a lovely stream just prior to crossing the bridge. Someone in the group made a joking comment about the remark; and, I instantly felt the Orb connection – like an Orb/Energy had just come rushing over to observe the beauty or (more likely) to join in the fun. Most of the orbs I’ve photographed – interestingly enough, have been present or responded to humor and gaiety (drawn more to joy and beauty vs. anything else – sometimes the Orb might even have instigated it) – so it did not surprise me to see this little guy show up in the film – (a faint orb - low middle right edge)
See pictures 58

Lastly, I went down to take a few pictures around the bridge. As I approached I said out loud, “I must title this picture “Crossing Over” – As I walked to the other side of the bridge, I turned back and snapped picture 76 - took one more step , turned back and clicked picture 77. Note two pictures:
1. Picture 76 – Orb – not crossed over – or waiting on the south side – Or, perhaps I was the one going backwards??? Which side is which? Either way:
2. picture 77 – no orb. I do not know if the energy crossed over or if it was simply camera shy – but the consecutive pictures may support movement or preference, who knows?

Well, those are the best pictures I have of the
Enchanted Cemetery Walkabout – Apopka July 25, 2009
Thanks again to All – for such a pleasant Saturday!
